Counting down the days to the 4th of may. With the start of the Giro of Italy, a great season of grand cycling tours in Europe is beginning. With the Italian Giro as the kick off, the Tour the France (100th edition) as the big summer party and the Vuelta as the spanish after party, 2013 will be a cycling year to remember, mark my words. As a result of this inspiring feeling, I’ve come up with a serie of minimal tour posters.

If you want a high quality print, you can buy it from my poster gallery via fineartamerica.com

My winner predictions?

Giro: ‘Knightrider’ Wiggins (can’t compete in the tour this year, so he sets his mind to the giro).
Tour: My head say’s Froome, my heart wants Contador. Go Alberto!
Vuelta: Rodriguez.

The Jack-in-the-box of 2013? Vincenzo Nibali, he is the one who makes it hard for everybody. Especially in the Giro and the Vuelta.

Biggest disappointment: Nothing again for the Schlecks.

I’m looking forward to a great year of racing.
