Somewhere this week I’ve sold my 666 item in my webshop. This somewhat cinematic milestone makes me so humble. Selling one item is a big, big compliment, selling this much is unbelievable. So to al those who bought a piece: Thxxxxxxxxxxx. Love you.
LOVE! the minimal movie poster trend.
What started out of curiosity, soon became a hobby and now looks more like an addiction (can no longer see any movie without thinking: “What does the minimal movie poster of this film look like?”). Resulted in a true minimal movie poster gallery.
And a few weeks ago, my gallery grew over the 100 titles barrier. To celebrate this occasion, it seemed nice to make a 1 minute stop motion clip show the first 100 (in alphabetical order).
The complete gallery is best described by a title in particular: The Good, The bad and The ugly. For it is certainly not filled with only the best or most beautiful movie titles ever made.
Some of the featured titles represent really bad movies or titles of films that are downright ugly. But one thing they do have in common: all are memorable.
The gallery is still growing. With still the same premise, asking myself the final question for each movie: “Who or what is the “real” star?”
