Storyline
In this film that took three years to produce, Yann Arthus-Bertrand presents images of over 50 countries seen from the sky, sharing with us his wonder and his concerns, and laying a stone in the edifice that we must all rebuild together.

The film is a manifesto in itself. Our impact on the Earth is greater than the planet can bear: we consume too much and are about to exhaust its resources. From the sky, we have a clear view of where the earth is wounded: Home offers a simple explanation of present-day problems, but it also says that there is a solution.

The film could be subtitled “It’s too late to be pessimistic”: we are at a crossroads, and we have to make some important decisions if we want to change the world. Everyone knows what the film is saying, but no one really wants to believe it. Home is one stone more in the edifice being constructed by environmental associations to regain some common sense and change the way we consume and live.
