Storyline
Private investigator Mike Hammer is driving back to LA when he picks up a hitchhiker. Their car is ambushed on the way, the two of them abducted and later left for dead after a staged car crash. She dies in the crash and when Hammer leaves hospital he sets out to ascertain who killed her and why.
